I started my journey to Siena with several members of our group - - Maya (from Mexico and San Francisco), Ann and Marty from the deep south, and DJ, our teacher for the week, from Oregon. They were on a day trip to Cortona (of Under the Tuscan Sun fame) while I got off in Chiusi to change trains for Siena. It was a nice way to end our time together.
