This afternoon, Bill and Kristi arranged a cooking class in the Palazzo del Gusto in an ancient monastery. A delightful Italian woman, Simona Fabrizio, taught us how to create a sinful dinner of eggplant parmesan, incredible hors d'oeurves, and panna cotta (cooked cream) with strawberry sauce. We celebrated our fine cuisine with local wines. Everything tasted great, we gained new cooking skills, and it was fun! How to Italians stay so slim?
