Bill and Kristi arranged for a tour of the lovely Palazzone vineyard near Orvieto. We heard an interesting talk by one of the charming owners. I am finally learning about wine! After touring the facility, admiring the restored Palazzo and wonderful view, we tasted two white and one red wine. The view across the valley back toward Orvietto was gorgeous in the early evening and the weather was perfect. On the way to the vineyard, we stopped by a local graveyard and everyone swarmed over the cemetery snapping pics of stone angels and cherubs. Fortunately I'm not the only one who has a passion for using images of stone angels and weeping women in my art!
